Each year, the East-West Gateway Council of Governments honors local governments, public officials, and projects that are making contributions to their community and to the region.

Kevin O’Keefe has been selected to receive a 2020 Gateway Lifetime Public Service Award to recognize decades of public service across numerous roles and board positions.

His leadership and immense knowledge in the field of local government law and dedication to the effective legal representation of cities of all sizes within the St. Louis region has made him the “Dean of Local Government Law.”
