Jonathan concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, land tax sales, estate planning/probate, and civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan spent 20 years running his own law firm, where he built a practice representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters involving real estate, including complex litigation cases involving real estate and/or contracts, collection of excess funds from land tax sales, commercial and residential landlord/tenant cases, preparing family Trusts and Wills, handling decedent’s Estates and Will contests in Probate Court, and business partnership disputes.
Jonathan graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2000, where he was an Articles Editor for the Southern Illinois University Law Journal, a representative of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Order of Barristers. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Philosophy and Political Science from Indiana University in 1997.
Following a strong call to give back to the community, Mr. Beck has done considerable pro bono work and has given assistance to and/or served as a board member for several non-profit organizations, including Go Local St. Louis, Gateway Pet Guardians, Loosen the Leash, and Fair Shares. He is a musician and a lover of yoga and exercise who enjoys spending time with his son, family, and friends and is a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church.
